Are you a licensed contractor?
Absolutely. Gold Standard Builders, Inc. is a licensed general contractor with an active license from the CSLB (Contractors State License Board).
Is your work done with permits?
Definitely. ALL work is done with permits. You should ALWAYS do your construction work with a permit. Why? To make sure that the work is done right and to protect yourself. When you do work with a permit a third party (The inspector) will check the work that your contractor is doing and will only approve the work if done according to code. This way you can make sure that the work performed was done correctly. We always follow city and state codes to make sure our work is done right.
Do you offer warranty?
We do offer warranty on our workmanship. All materials, equipment and fixtures installed by Gold Standard builders, Inc. are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty and are not warranted by Gold Standard Builders, Inc. This can include vanities, shower fixtures, faucets, kitchen hood, light fixtures, etc. Gold Standard Builders, Inc. warrants its workmanship for a period of one year from the completion of the last day of work. Owner must provide Gold Standard Builders, Inc., a written notice of any noted issues within 48-hours of a problem arising. This warranty shall be void if any other contractor or person has worked on the property or has modified the work installed or done by Gold Standard Builders, Inc. Failure of fixtures due to manufacturer’s faulty or defective parts will be done at Owner’s expense.
Do you offer financing?
We do. We offer several financing options. Non-secured loans of up to $150,000 with a finance company. These loans are approved quickly and do not affect your current mortgage. (Based on approved credit). Traditional finance: Mortgage. We accept all major credit cards. Energy efficient based programs. (Based on approved credit) Gold Standard Builders, Inc. is neither a broker nor a lender. Financing is provided by third-party lenders that are not affiliated with Gold Standard Builders Inc. These terms and conditions are arranged directly between the customer and the lender. All terms are subject to credit requirements and satisfactory completion of finance documents. Any finance terms advertised are estimates only. Gold Standard Builders Inc. does not assist with, advise or negotiate financing, other than providing customers an introduction to lenders interested in financing our clients.

Price will vary depending upon the scope of the work. A partial kitchen remodel can start at a few thousands and can go up to over $25,000. Materials will also play a role in the total budget.
How long will my kitchen project take?
When we meet for consultation, we will go through planning and budgeting, and we will be able to estimate the time frame it will take from start to finish. Construction consists of many aspects and has many moving parts. Estimated times need to be flexible depending on the project. We will always do our best to meet or beat our anticipated schedule. A typical kitchen remodel will last from about two to four weeks and possibly a little longer. It will greatly vary according to the scope of the work. Also keep in mind that some of the work is done outside the home. For example: counter top fabrication, cabinets etc. We will always do our best to stay within the time frame planned.
How long will my room addition take?
When we meet for consultation, we will go through planning and budgeting, and we will be able to estimate the time frame it will take from start to finish. Construction consists of many aspects and has many moving parts. Estimated times need to be flexible depending on the project. We will always do our best to meet or beat our anticipated schedule. A typical room addition starts with engineering and plans. Depending on the city, it takes around 3 months from the time plans are submitted to the city. The exact time will depend on the city we are working in. Actual construction of a room addition can take approx. 2 1/2 months and up, depending on the size and complexity of the project.
How much will my bathroom remodel cost?
